NAGORNO-KARABAKH NOT OBJECT BUT SUBJECT OF TALKS, OSCE MINSK GROUP RUSSIAN CO-CHAIR STATED

 

 

 

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Some time or other the Karabakh party has to be included in the negotiation process on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. OSCE Minsk group Russian co-chair Nikolay Gribkov stated that in his interview with «De-Facto» agency. «I have told for many times that without Stepanakert, without taking into consideration Nagorno-Karabakh's interests, it is hardly possible to speak about complete settlement. It is thought that all people understand that Nagorno-Karabakh is not an object but the subject of the talks», he stated. Meanwhile the Russian diplomat called the recommencement of the talks within the Minsk group framework with participation of the Karabakh party improbable. That is hardly possible in the election situation in Armenia and Azerbaijan, Gribkov noted. At that he expressed hope that until the end of this year it would be managed to recommence the mechanisms of the Paris principles that is to say to have the third meeting on the level of special representatives of the Armenia and Azerbaijan's presidents. It should be reminded that the coming visit of the Minsk mediators to the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is expected September 25-26. They will visit Yerevan, Stepanakert and Baku.
