of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Yenikopolyan is the author of 300 scientific works. He headed the laboratory of polymer processes of the Institute of Chemistry and Physics, worked as the vice-president of the scientific council on the high molecular compounds at the Institute of Chemistry and Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1968), vice-president of the scientific council on new synthetic materials at the presidium of the AS of the USSR (1972). YASIN MOLLA MAMED OGHLI: A resident of Kutkashen village of Kutkashen District (Yelizavetpol Province). As a plenipotentiary representative of the Soviet power, on June 20, 1920 he sent a letter to the Commissioner of the Interior of Azerbaijan indicating about the cases of robbery and disturbances in the Armenian villages of Nukhi and Aresh Districts and the total extinction of the Armenian populace. The document contained information about the proprietors, initiators and executors of the massacres. In addition, Yasin called for ensuring the security of the survived Armenian population.
